Consumed is a conceptual project that explores the inextricable links we have to other people. 
 
I've noticed that when I enter a new relationship or role, I become immersed in it so completely that I lose my sense of self. I tend to suppress my needs for the benefit of the other person, giving space and energy to the other person can bloom and blossom. 

As times goes on, I find that I no longer recognize myself; I've morphed entirely into something new and I don't always like it. Extricating myself is nearly impossible, often leading to damaged relationships with others and myself.
